In the New Free World, the World Voluntaryist Organization (WVO) has introduced a pioneering identification system, setting it apart from traditional government-issued IDs. This system, referred to as DIDs or Decentralized Identities, embodies the fundamental principles of individual freedom and self-sovereignty that are at the core of this emerging society.

Why DIDs?

The decision to adopt DIDs over government-issued IDs is rooted in the understanding that government IDs are inherently tied to the legal entity within conventional states. WVO and the New Free World, with their distinct legal framework and steadfast commitment to personal liberty, necessitated a novel approach to identification.

In the unfree world, individuals, organizations, and companies are officially registered as legal entities under government jurisdiction. This registration implies that these entities are subject to government control and regulation, categorizing them as unfree.
